I am driving in my car,
Minding my own business
Thinking bout my lady,
Thirsty for a Guiness
Haven't felt this good about myself
Since I was 6 years old
Left turns are more easier
I'm not driving on the Rightside of the Road
On this side of the fence
The grass is truly greener
The wind is at my back
And my senses seem more keener
Friendly conversations
and Craic is mighty good
So much more to look at
Minding my own business
Thinking bout my lady,
Thirsty for a Guiness
Haven't felt this good about myself
Since I was 6 years old
Left turns are more easier
I'm not driving on the Rightside of the Road
On this side of the fence
The grass is truly greener
The wind is at my back
And my senses seem more keener
Friendly conversations
and Craic is mighty good
So much more to look at
I'm not driving on the Rightside of the Road
When I was young, pain was important
To gain a place, To pass the test
I'm older now and less complacement
I find I lean a lot more to the left
The sun is in it's sky
Even night seems brighter
From where I am tonight
My burden seems much lighter
I wish the world could wake
And shake loose from it's color code
I'm seeing so much clearly
I'm not driving on the Rightside of the road
When I was young, pain was important
To gain a place, To pass the test
I'm older now and less complacement
I find I lean a lot more to the left
The sun is in it's sky
Even night seems brighter
From where I am tonight
My burden seems much lighter
I wish the world could wake
And shake loose from it's color code
I'm seeing so much clearly
I'm not driving on the Rightside of the road
